Outreach Manager (Part-Time)

Kane County, Illinois

Reports To: Executive Director

Position Overview

Food for Health is seeking a passionate and relationship-driven Brand Ambassador to represent our Healthy Meals Program throughout Kane County and nearby communities. This part-time role is ideal for someone who is energized by connecting with people, building partnerships, and advocating for individuals facing serious health crises.
 
The Brand Ambassador will serve as a key liaison between Food for Health and hospitals, cancer centers, churches, and civic organizations, communicating the life-changing value of medically supportive, nutritious meals.

  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to engage confidently with diverse audiences
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Positive, proactive, can-do attitude

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Food for Health in the community with professionalism, warmth, and authenticity
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, cancer treatment centers, churches, and civic organizations
  • Clearly communicate the mission, values, and impact of the Healthy Meals Program
  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities to expand program reach
  • Deliver presentations and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Actively promote awareness and referrals to the program
  • Provide feedback from the field to support organizational growth and strategy
  • Work independently to schedule meetings and manage outreach

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background as a Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist, or healthcare professional
  • Sales, marketing, or community outreach experience
  • Passion for nutrition as it relates to health and healing
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn Food for Health’s nutrition philosophy

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel locally within Kane County and surrounding areas
  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability for occasional daytime meetings and events
